Blue & White for a Celebration

Another Birthday Celebration!

As you may remember from an earlier post,
we celebrate many December birthdays in our family...
and one of those is My Sweetheart's Birthday!

We had reservations for a special dinner and night out with all the kids, so I wanted his day to start out special...
with a Birthday Breakfast!

Simple is our style...
Maple Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Fruit, Coffee...
Lots-n-lots of coffee!

I woke up early, early to get the table set and everything ready to cook.  My sweetie likes to drink a cup of coffee or two before he eats, so I had the coffee button ready to push and all the breakfast ingredients measured and ready to go.  I wanted breakfast to be hot and ready for him as soon as he finished his coffee.

(It was very early, so I lit the candles to show you the table in just the dawn & candle light)

He loves hot syrup on his pancakes.  I use this crystal decanter for the syrup.  It is really pretty and pours nicely...

I love flowers on the table!  Preferring flowers from the garden, during the winter it is slim pickins' in my garden, so these purchased flowers added a nice touch.

Candles...just have to use them no matter the time of day or the occasion.  Candles add warmth to every table.

Yes, my sweetie had a wonderful birthday!
I am so blessed and thankful for him!!!

Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment so I'll know you did...
Blessings to you,

  6. How lovely. I know your husband feels so special. I like the blue, and the carafe used for the syrup is a great idea. I can tell by the shape that it pours well! Neat! Are the mats Matelasse? I love white, and they are gorgeous :D

  7. Very pretty! Your flowers are just gorgeous! There's nothing like fresh flowers to make a table come alive! Looking at those blueberries has caused my recent craving for blueberry pie to reemerge. Rats! Now I have to go make one and eat it! :-) Happy New Year!
