It's the Weekend...

Sunday, September 28, 2014

It's Saturday morning

and so far we've had a slow morning of breakfast and coffee on the porch

while the guys are installing insulation in the kitchen/keeping room.

I finally feel we are on our way

because the next step after the insulation inspection will be the

drywall installation and I can't tell you how excited that makes me!

With the hardwood floor installation close behind there is more clearing out to do

so things are being packed away...

We won't be packing Coco away,
but she was being all kinds of cute so I had to snap a few pics...

and I couldn't hurt Jet's feelings so I snapped a few of her too...

Love that face!...

The candles will be staying out...somewhere?!...because when there is nothing pretty to see it's nice to have something nice to smell...

Hope you are having a GREAT weekend

and

I hope you are enjoying following our Kitchen Remodel Diary...

  1. I won't be have a renovation, or remodel and can't do scented candles... but I sure do miss my coffee! Hope that doesn't end up being forever and that I'll eventually be able to get back to it.

  3. I'm not sure I could pack away such beauties! The silver tea service? The ironstone pitcher? No, I'm sure I couldn't! Glad it's coming along nicely, though! Love your kitties! Enjoy your weekend!

  5. When the dry walls are up, you'll be able to "sse" your space more clearly... I remember doing a little happy dance when they began putting the dry-wall in my kitchen!
