I Have a Confession

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

I have a confession to make,

it's time for me to come clean.

Yes, I know that the holiday's are over,

and I know that the smell of fresh cut balsam tree is a scent of Christmas...

But it's still winter, and cold outside...

and balsam trees represent the winter season too..right!

So I'll confess...
I have an addiction that I keep in the great room...

A Fresh Balsam ~ Snowday 2013 candle stays aglow in the great room,
and me oh my...if only you could smell the amazing fragrance that fills the room...

I stocked up on them, so I won't be running out any time soon.
That's my confession,
and I'm not ready to give it up!

Have anything you'd like to confess?!...

Hop on over for AMAZE ME MONDAY!

  2. Hi on Tuesday, Cindy!
As long as the weather is cold, you may as well enjoy the scent! There's something about LOVING the way your home smells that makes us happy, and that's important.

My confession? I don't always keep things organized, so sometimes when my kitchen counters or desk looks like a tornado blew through, I just shove the stuff in drawers.
People compliment me on how neat the house looks and I feel guilty, but not guilty enough to confess!

  3. I have a handicap. And as disabilities go, it is probably the easiest to live with, but not fun. I cannot smell. I cannot smell my roses nor can I smell the aroma of my husbands cioppino or paella. On the plus side, as a middle school teacher, I could not smell the boys in class after they came in from PE and sprayed themselves with AXE. It affects my tastebuds too - I think I enjoy food from memory. On the rare day - maybe 10 times a year - when my nose works, I am so excited to go out and smell the flowers.

  6. Hey, great idea! Maybe I will get my Balsam candle out again too, to go along with my snowman displays that are still out! Just took the winter scene down from my mantel. Removing it all slowly so as not to get too excited for Spring!

  9. Hi! My name is Magali and I still have snowy pine cones on my mantel... I removed all Christmas decor but those, because I have a very nice memory of the day I painted them and they make me smile...

  11. No need to confess Cindy;) There is nothing like a scented candle to lift our spirits .. no matter what the weather. This sounds heart warming and although I've never had this candle, I'm sure it's lovely:)

  12. Well I still have a tray of white candles surrounded by pine cones that I just can't seem to take down and put away. But since we are finally getting some more normal weather in Dallas, I think I had better put it away - maybe tomorrow.

  14. I still have snowmen and pine cones out. It is still winter here in NW Missouri. We are supposed to get another 2-4 inches of snow today. My goal is to get all the winter decor put away by March :)
