GLORIOUS AFTERNOON COLORS!

Dwellings
Shinning so brightly across the rooms are all the colors of the rainbow!
One of my favorite times of the day are afternoons,
when the first beckon to "come and see" are found in the kitchen,
dancing brightly across the wall.

Late afternoon is when the rays of the sun join the crystal chandelier for their amazing dance in the dining room.
The dance that brings a smile to my face and joy to my soul...every time!

The dance starts off slow, but it grows.
It grows brighter
and larger
and more colorful
as the sun and crystals join their beauty for the dance.

The colors,
they change.

At the hint of a nod
or
tiniest step of foot,
the colors change.

From pink to blue,
green to red,
purple to yellow...
the colors join together and dance!
I wish you could see it in person...

And it seems that just as soon as the dance begins, it's time.
The time when the sun sets lower,
and the crystals can no longer catch the rays,
so the dance slows
and the colors begin to fade.

The colors fade, making way for the evening shadows.  They are beautiful too!

A glorious time of day, the late afternoon.

And I know from whom this beautiful dance comes...
how it is that happy smiles come and my soul is filled with joy as I take in this amazing sight!
The beautiful display when rays of sun touch cuts of crystal for their afternoon dance.
This time of day, I am reminded, from whom all blessings flow!

"On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
Psalm 145:5
Hope you are having a wonderful week my sweet friend!

Blessings,
Cindy

  11. Morning Cindy,
what a wonderful post and such wonderful photos, God does the most beautiful and creative work, no one can beat him that is for sure! Loved seeing them and I bet it is even more spectacular in person, and so true that even the shadow are beautiful as well. Sometimes early in the morning in our bathroom when the sun is just coming up, we get the coolest shadows. Never knew a crystal chandelier could be so much fun!
Thanks for sharing that, and the reason for the display of beauty.

So how are the wedding plans coming along?? Busy huh?? Praying for you as I know only too well, what a wonderful/ yet stressful time it can be too..................

    Blessings hon, Nellie

  12. Wow, you brought back some memories for me that I had forgotten a long long time ago. They came flooding back with this post. When I was a little girl, the dining room in the house we lived in had a beautiful chandelier with prisms. They sent all kinds of colorful designs on the walls. My mother and I used to sit watch them in the afternoons. These are wonderful memories. Thanks so much. Such beautiful photos.

  20. I have always had crystals hanging in my window to capture that precious few minutes of perfect sunlight. I even had one that was solar powered and turned in the light spinning rainbows around the room, but nothing as wonderful as an entire chandelier and a room full of rainbows! How beautiful. Dianne
