For several years I had been visiting some wonderful blogs.  As I was living life and fluffing my nest, I began thinking...I could share this or that.  So, I thought I'd give it a try!

What a Surprise and Honor...

From the beginning of The Heart of Your Home blog, I have been so impressed and thankful for Laurie of Heaven's Walk.  She has been such a kind and consistent friend to me.

A few days ago, I received notice of a recent post from Heaven's Walk, so I went to visit my sweet friend.  I was so happy to see that Heaven's Walk had received the Stylish Blogger Award!

 7 things about myself

~ I love the Lord with all my heart and I am so thankful for His grace, mercy, sacrifice and love.  I will forever be grateful to My Uncle John, Aunt Janie and cousin Sheila for all the love they have shown me and for being my summer family when I was young!  There will be many jewels in their heavenly crowns!

~ My husband is the love of my life, my best friend, my hero, and my rock on this earth.  My favorite place to be is anywhere he is!

~ My children are my heart! They are living on their own, but I still wish I could spend time with them every day!

~My mother, father, sisters and brother mean more to me than words could ever express!  I love it when we spend time together!   Our dear friends Judy and Mark...they are family!

~ I love to garden!  Planning, working, tilling and planting...both pleasure and therapy!  (And boy do I get dirty!)

~I love to clean, design, decorate and fluff my nest...I just love HOME!

~  I would love to earn a degree in interior design and become a master gardner!
