Tweaks in the Guest Room

Having just shared the Guest Room Reveal I was a little surprised to be tweaking this room already.
Actually, I couldn't believe this change didn't come to mind earlier.

Are you like me,
you get used to something being in a certain place for so long that it never dawns on you to move it?

Such is the case with the love seat being in front of the guest room window.
It has been there for a long time and I was used to it being there,
but it's time to move.

This room doesn't get much morning light,
so moving the love seat away from the front window would allow more light into the room.
So the cane back chairs and Granny's White sewing machine swapped places with the loveseat...

Notice the black spot in the lower right side of this picture...

It's Jet, my shadow...

This little vase in the guest room is the perfect size,
add just a few sprigs of Lantana and the arrangement is done...

Before & After...

Which do you like best?

I haven't decided yet,
but I do like more light coming in through the window.

In case you missed it here's the Guest Room Reveal.

  1. I like them both actually. However ,more light indoors is always a plus for me. I try and leave the windows as clutter free as possible in our home, so the new look is something I would do :) Plus I luv your granny's sewing machine.
