Love WHITES ~ COLOR too!

WHITES …Bright ~ Crisp ~ Fresh
White rooms are beautiful and have a serene flair all their own.
What’s not to love about a room full of whites…

every shade of white

I LOVE this chair!  Really, really would love to have this chair…

As I make plans for a guest bedroom, great room and den, I sometimes ponder an all white room.  Or maybe a white room with pops of color…

prints galore

I do LOVE color.  So maybe a room with warm, creamy tones…

And before I know it, I’m back to rich, vibrant colors and my love for the color RED…

Hmmm, maybe it’s time for my traditional style and love of color to rub elbows with a little contemporary…

Hope you've enjoyed the inspiration!

With so much inspiration and ideas galore do you sometimes need help on which direction you should go?  I do!  So, how about a little help from friends...

What's your favorite color scheme?
All White, white with pops of color, creamy tones, or vibrant colors and maybe a touch of red?

And your style?  Vintage, traditional or do you like some contemporary flair?

Can't wait to hear...

Blessings,
Cindy

  1. Now THAT is the question of the year for me! I'm not sure I really have a "style"! Unless it would be eclectic! I think I get bored when I try to capture just ONE style so I keep changing it. Right now I'm in the middle of wanting to change again. I think I'm going to come up with a different name for "my style". it doesn't fit into one category.
And I love the look of white but I know eventually I'd be adding color starting with blue!

Thanks for the inspiring photos! And have a great St Pat's Day.

  2. Cindy my heart sings for white.I transformed my whole home this way and I LOVE it! I still have some wood here and there and a few pops of color. But I adore an all white home with no color too.It is so beautiful and serene. What ever you chose do what YOU want too.Do what makes YOU happy :-)

  3. That's exactly what I was thinking like three months ago when I began working on my bedroom! I decided to go with white and adding a few pops of color that I can change for the seasons! I still have a lot of work to do. Great inspiration pics!

  4. I too love white and I am slowly incorporating it in my home, with pops of color! Red is one too. I'm sorta eclectic. Great post!

  6. Hi Cindy,
I like the white rooms with pops of colour, I think they're gorgeous. I also love RED, it's got to be the happiest colour out there. It's my happy colour anyway.
    Have a good week.

  7. White wouldn't last 5 minutes around here and I have no sense of style. Guess that makes me (old style) eclectic.

  8. I really like white. I have a small white sitting room with touches of rose in it. Our main room has deep taupe and some pops of muted color here and there. I tend to be pretty traditional with a nod towards romantic. I love YOUR home-you have done a beautiful job with it- xo Diana

  10. A few years ago I thought I would go all white in our guest bedroom. After spending the day painting the room a linen white, my husband came home and said that it looked like we had just moved in and it was way too sterile looking. I don't know how they make it look so good in all of those pictures. I have a beautiful pale green in the room instead. Can't wait to see what you decide.

  11. Hi Cindy! I enjoy looking at all white rooms but I just don't think I could live in them. I love me some color. You've shown some beautiful rooms.
Thanks for popping in to see me.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  14. As I was looking at the first pictures of all white, I thought how pretty they were but.....when the colored rooms started coming up on my screen I found them simply fabulous so I guess that shows where my heart lies. If I have only one life to live, don't make me live it in beige and gray or sterile white.
