Every weekend we went up to see the progress and hit the flea markets and yard sales. We had NO place top store anything at home so we rented a storage unit for a few months. It was like Christmas when we finally was able to move in...I has forgotten many of the purchases and it a fun surprise! Love the red lamp and your treatment look amazing. Now I am collecting a few things here and there for when we make the move to TN and build our farmhouse in the meadow! Can't wait to see the progress!Debby Rayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02499542865677173703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3198642533840030075.post-62688540639475840982017-08-09T15:24:26.111-04:002017-08-09T15:24:26.111-04:00The dayilies are stunning! Construction can feel like an eternal process, but when it's over, you will be ready to nest. 🌸🖼🛋💕Rattlebridge Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07270992062886735035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3198642533840030075.post-47859019878234868632017-08-09T14:15:13.165-04:002017-08-09T14:15:13.165-04:00What a mess for storage but it will be SOOOO worth...What a mess for storage but it will be SOOOO worth it once you can start moving stuff up to the cabin. I think it's absolutely genius to work on adding things slowly. You aren't impulsive and you can also buy seasonally. Fall is the best time to buy outdoor furnishings, etc,...you get the idea! All the best, keep us posted!!!Blondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3198642533840030075.post-36255739496406469092017-08-08T14:22:04.604-04:002017-08-08T14:22:04.604-04:00Cindy, I was very excited to see this post! Oh my ...Cindy, I was very excited to see this post! Oh my gosh, though, you had me laughing out loud at the stash of STUFF you're accumulating! My husband would go absolutely nuts if I did that (lucky you!). I would most likely be hauling it in my car, lol. I can't wait until you can style your cabin - it's going to be amazing.
You did a great job on the tole lamp! IF you're still dreaming of the one that's been in the shop for 8 mos, here's a tip: go back, and ask the store to call the dealer with an offer of 30% below asking (if you can live with that price). Offer to pay cash or check (it makes a difference to a dealer if the management takes a fee for processing credit cards, as is the case in our antique mall). If they say no, ask them for their best price.
RitaRita C at Panoplyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17351306074493103021noreply@blogger.com
