  1. When I saw the photo of our hearth room, here, I was inspired to put together a post about the many changes of the room. Thank you for the inspiration, Cindy! Thank you for hosting!

  2. Oh wow, Cindy, I'm humbled that readers found my treasures exciting also! Thank you, blog friends, and let's go shopping! Shopping we can do - in my newly purged and organized basement of stuff - it's complete (for now, anyway)! Thank you for hosting, Cindy. It's connections like this that actually help me stay motivated and want to beautify my spaces. Still anxious to see your beautiful renovations - I thought maybe there would be a peek with your opening comments. :)

  8. Hi Cindy
I'm your newest reader, found you via One More Time Events. You have a wonderful blog -- looks like I'm going to be visiting often. I'm also linking up a new [old] industrial chic storage cabinet that I painted. Hope you'll come by for a visit.

  11. I cannot believe it is the last day of August, Cindy! After an unbelievably long winter this summer seems like a blink. I do hope we have a lovely long fall. Winter can wait, for sure!! Maybe if we keep wearing our whites summer will linger. Wishful thinking I'm sure!

Hope you and yours are enjoying an extraordinary holiday weekend!

  16. Thank you for taking time out of a busy holiday weekend to host today! And yes, I do stick with the no white after Labor Day rule. If I wear white from now on it will be a warm, winter white. While I know that rule doesn't really stick anymore, I like it because it makes white special. I love to uphold traditions because it makes life a little sunnier.

    Susan and Bentley

  19. I have to confess, that occasionally while it is in the 90's, I will still wear my white jeans, but not just regular white pants. I am always excited to start wearing it again. Loved your party!!

  20. Cindy, thank you so much for hosting. I love all the features but especially, I love the kitchens you showed in your last post. Did you find the pictures on Pinterest? I can't wait to see your finished kitchen. Your home is so outstanding and comfortable, I can only imagine the beautiful kitchen you will come up with. I could easily live in any of those that you showed but I just bet you I would be happiest in yours. I know you will be too and must be anxious to finish it. We all can't wait..Happy Monday..Judy
