CHRISTMAS TEA

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

Each year our church has a Christmas Tea/Festival of Tables for the ladies.  For this event tables are hosted and decorated by ladies in the church.  This year we have 50 or so tables being hosted and each table seats 8...it's going to be a GREAT night!
The evening begins with a time to mingle and view all the decorated tables.  Many take pictures as we see so many creative ideas for Christmas tablescapes.  Then a wonderful sit down dinner is served by men of the church (yeah!), we enjoy Christmas music performed by choir members (they are awesome!) and then we get to enjoy a guest speaker.
Yep, I'm hosting a table again this year.  The event is this Friday night...yes in just THREE more days...and so far this is all I've got:

Ask me if I'm in crazy mode right now...That would be a GREAT BIG...Y-E-A-H!!!
Last year's event was so much fun and the tables were beautiful so take a peek: CHRISTMAS TEA
Thanks for coming by, love your sweet comments!

  5. Um, Cindy, not to pressure you or anything, but you better get busy! Just kidding! I'm sure whatever you plan will be beautiful. I love that you are using the religious theme for your table. Seems so many people ignore the real reason of the season, so it's nice to see something besides Santa and snowmen.

I'll look forward to seeing your finished table, so take plenty of pictures!

  9. All the best to you Cindy!!! I would be so nervous by this time. We had a tea last Sat. night at our church, a much smaller do than yours, but I was the decorator for the room and tables. I kept it simple, but the ladies were very much in awe of it all. This leads me to believe that most ladies don't have any idea how to make something pretty and interesting.
    Have a great tea!
    Hugs, Cindy

  11. What a lovely event that your church puts on. I love tea time. Me and the girls are taking time out each day to have a cup of tea. We love it. I know whatever you decide to do, it will look amazing. And I always enjoy coming over here - everything is so BIG, which I love.
